Diving Cueva del Palm Mar

We descend onto the rocky plateau at around 16 meters and follow the volcanic wall toward deeper water. This site is also known as Cueva de Las Morenas, Cueva de Juanito and Cueva de Los Camarones, names connected with its long diving history and the marine life found around the wall.

At approximately 27 meters, the cave entrance appears in the rock. Different moray species often shelter in the cracks nearby, while garden eels rise from the sandy bottom below. Parrotfish, seabream, wrasse, octopus, turtles and rays may also be seen along the wall and open sand.

Experienced divers can continue deeper toward the Virgin Mary statue at around 35 meters and the dolphin statue near 38 meters. With the route extending toward 40 meters, careful depth control, gas awareness and planning are essential.
