Diving Las Eras

Enter from the protected bay and descend across shallow volcanic ledges before following the reef along the coastline. Cracks, overhangs and small caves create plenty of places to investigate, with trumpetfish, moray eels, octopus and other marine life hiding between the rocks.

At around 12 meters, the route reaches tunnels and swim-throughs where sunlight enters through openings in the rock. Statues appear along the reef, including a Buddha near one of the best-known passages, while stingrays and electric rays may sometimes rest inside the sheltered formations.

Farther out, the reef drops toward a deeper wall where barracuda, rays and seasonal angel sharks may appear. Aquarius chooses the route according to certification, conditions and the experience of the group.
