Dry Suit Diver | PADI
Diving in a dry suit extends your diving opportunities, like deeper and longer dives, diving in the winter or in colder environments.
Proper Dry Suit training will enhance your skills and make the transition to dry suit diving fun and easy and best of all, you stay warm and dry!
At Aquarius dive center the PADI Dry Suit Diver course is possible for everyone with a minimum age of 12 years and must be certified as a PADI (Jr) Open Water Diver or equivalent.
During the theory session you gain the knowledge how to don, doff and store a dry suit. Get introduced to the different types of dry suits, undergarment and how to maintain them. We look also about the possible problems that you can encounter while you are diving in a dry suit.
The practical part what include 1 confined water session and 2 open water dives is mainly focused on the maintenance and small repairs of the dry suit, how to use your dry suit and you will make different exercises including (dry suit) buoyancy and trim.
The complete course has a minimum of 2 following days.
