Equipment Specialist | PADI
Don’t miss a dive due to minor issues with your scuba diving equipment.
Whether it’s a missing o-ring, wetsuit tear or a broken fin strap, the PADI Equipment Specialist course teaches you to manage basic repairs and adjustments.
You’ll also learn more about how your gear works, making you more comfortable with it and better prepared to take care of your investment.
The PADI Equipment specialist course is possible for everyone with a minimum age of 10 years and must be certified as a PADI (Jr.) Scuba Diver or equivalent.
In the theory section is a explanation about the development of diving equipment and the equipment working principals. Extra attention is given to dive cylinders, valves and regulators.
The practical part of the Equipment course takes place in the class and maintenance room.
You learn practical tips, how to deal with some small repairs and how to handle when you get problems with your dive equipment instead to abort the dive.
Our maintenance technician will give a workshop of a complete maintenance from a valve, first and second stage and demonstrate what equipment we at Aquarius use for the final adjustments and testings.
If you have already your own regulator set we invite you to bring it with you and during the workshop we can test the overall performance of it.
The complete course has a minimum of 1 day.
