To start the PADI Compressor Handling Specialist course, please make sure you know the following:
Compressor training is in the Aquarius DNA
This is not a normal classroom-only specialty. Aquarius has many years of real compressor operation, maintenance and repair experience with different compressor systems, not only theoretical knowledge from a course outline.
During this training, you work with a BAUER/MAKO K14 compressor that is prepared especially for the PADI Compressor Handling Specialist course. You will not just look at a machine from a distance. Under direct supervision, you practise real handling and maintenance-related procedures on a compressor used for training.
Harry teaches this course personally. With 35+ years in the dive industry, BAUER compressor training and long practical experience with dive-center compressor systems, this is a rare opportunity to learn a skill that many dive professionals only discover after they start working in the industry.
This course does not certify you as a compressor repair technician. It gives you practical understanding, safer handling habits and a much better idea of what you can do yourself, when to stop and when a qualified service technician is needed.

Compressor handling is serious dive-center knowledge. A compressor is not just another piece of equipment. It is part of the breathing-gas safety chain, and poor habits around filling, filters, oil, ventilation or maintenance can create real problems.
