Our approach
Sidemount diving is not just moving the cylinders to the side. The real difference comes from correct configuration, weighting, trim, hose routing, cylinder position and calm gas management.
At Aquarius, we keep the course practical and equipment-focused. You learn how the sidemount system should fit, how the cylinders should sit, how to switch second stages when using two cylinders and how to stay balanced without fighting your equipment.
For extra safety background, DAN explains how sidemount diving can provide genuine gas redundancy when cylinders and gas are managed correctly.
