Our approach

Tec Sidemount is not cylinder decoration. A sidemount card only means you have completed a course. At this level, the real question is whether your configuration is clean, controlled and useful when technical procedures, extra cylinders and task loading are added.

At Aquarius, your Tec Sidemount training is taught directly by Harry, your TecRec Instructor. The mindset is simple: certified is not always qualified. We look for divers who want real competence, not just another card. If your current setup, experience or motivation is not ready for this level, we will tell you honestly and guide you toward the right preparation.

Harry’s sidemount experience includes different systems, steel and aluminium cylinders, warm water, cold water, ice diving, wreck environments and technical configurations. That experience is used practically during your course, with direct adjustment, clear feedback and a strong focus on the result in the water. DAN also explains why balanced tanks, clean hose routing and experienced instruction matter in sidemount diving.
