On the Pro Ops Lab path, we do not shortcut the equipment module. You complete the PADI Equipment Specialist course and the full Aquarius Pro Service Room Workshop, because real operational awareness needs more than basic gear-care theory.

The first day gives you a serious explanation of how scuba equipment actually works. You go deeper into cylinders, valves, inflators, first stages and second stages, and how these parts connect as one breathing system. We explain balanced and unbalanced designs, piston and diaphragm first stages, second-stage features, intermediate pressure, cracking effort, hose routing, service awareness and common warning signs.

The second day moves into the Aquarius maintenance room. Under supervision, you see real regulator and valve components, testing tools and maintenance-room procedures. We look at disassembly and assembly principles, brand-standard adjustment thinking, intermediate pressure checks, cracking-effort checks, water-leak analysis, thread inspection, ultrasonic cylinder wall-thickness checks and correct valve-torque procedures.

This is where Aquarius brings real authority to the page. Harry has manufacturer training from many major dive-equipment brands, decades of maintenance experience and more than 1,800 regulators serviced across different brands and configurations. That background makes this module very different from a basic “look after your gear” talk.

This does not make you a manufacturer-authorized service technician. It gives you serious equipment understanding, better troubleshooting awareness and a much clearer view of what should be handled by a qualified technician.
