Diving Las Vistas

Enter gradually from Las Vistas Beach and descend across the shallow sand toward the rocky reef. During the day, parrotfish, damselfish, trumpetfish, ornate wrasse, cuttlefish and schools of roncadores bring movement and color to this relaxed dive.

After sunset, the atmosphere changes completely. Dive lights reveal octopus, moray eels, rays and other nocturnal animals moving between the rocks and across the dark sand, while many daytime fish settle into the reef for the night.

The easy entry, shallow depth and simple route make Las Vistas suitable for training as well as enjoyable night dives. Divers who want to explore confidently after sunset can develop the planning, communication and navigation skills involved during our PADI Night Diver specialty.
