PADI Underwater Naturalist Course
The PADI Underwater Naturalist Course will open your eyes to the amazing flora and fauna around the coast of Tenerife.
This PADI specialty will give you in 2 days a new perspective on diving and increase your appreciation of our global underwater environment.
Tenerife boasts an abundance of marine life, Shoals of Roncadores, Trumpet fish, rays, Angel Sharks, Turtles, Cuttlefish, Wrasse, Sea horses, Moray Eels, Arrowhead Crabs, Nudibranchs, Jewel anemones, Shrimps, Starfish and Scorpion Fish, to name just a few.
You must be, minimum age of 10 years.
Certified as a PADI (Jr.) Open Water Diver or equivalent.
In the theory session we look about subjects like:
• Comparison between the world above and underwater.
• The thoughts from people concerning the underwater life.
• Different plant and animal groups and the relations between them.
• The influence of people on the underwater environment and we discuss the PADI Underwater Naturalist knowledge review answers from the course manual.
In the 2 open water dives attention is given on the way how you can prevent destruction to the bottom and his organisms.
You will recognize the local organisms, plants and animals and we will see the local influence from people about it.
The last task is to make a report about a plant or animal what lives here in the waters around Tenerife.
The complete course takes 2 days.
